From day 1, I will be by your side. I will be communicating with your mortgage specialist as well as making sure that I take you to every showing. I will guide you through looking, finding, writing an offer and closing on your new home. I will make sure to go over inspections, discuss improvements you may want and also to help you with a moving company if you need. I love getting to know my buyers and taking you from a buyer to a homeowner to a dear friend. It is one of my greatest joys - working with buyers!

Buying a Home is Exciting!!
Buying a home, whether it be your first or your 5th is exciting. It should be fun, exciting and not be something you hate. My approach is always to listen to your needs and find you the best home in your price range, in the best area possible. Through education and explanation, I provide my buyer’s the knowledge to make the best choices for themselves and truly understand the process of purchasing a home while also informing you of market changes that may affect you as a buyer.

What is a Buyer’s Consultation?
Your buyer’s consultation is a time for you and I to get to know each other. It is a time for you to explain what you want in your home, your timeline and expectations. The consultation also gives me time to explain the process of buying a home, the loan process, explain the current market conditions and also explain the important parts of the contract. This consultation is the beginning of a successful home buying experience.

Honesty- I will never sell you a home that I have not told you every bit about.

When is the best time to buy?
The best time to buy is when you are financially ready and when you find the right home. We do not have a “ slow” time in the Bay Area so there is not a “buying season”. We are busy all year. I always recommend scheduling a buyer consultation with me and then we can discuss your lender needs, qualifications and specifics of what you are looking for in a home.

How much money do I really need to put down?
In our market, 10% is the minimum amount that a buyer is able to put down on a home. The more you put down, the stronger the offer and the easier the qualification for buying.

Why use an agent?
Using an agent is extremely important. There are many legal issues with purchasing and many inspection and home repair items that you need to understand while purchasing a home. When you work with me, I make sure that you understand the comparables and more importantly you understand the home you are buying. You need to understand your loan and any challenges with your loan and you need to have someone who negotiates the best deal possible for you. Anyone can write an offer, but it does not mean you are protected or that it is written with your best interest in mind. It costs you more for an attorney or a new roof than it does to use a good quality agent like me!
